Pray for Otto on February 16th

 

This is Otto.

 

Otto is 3 months old.

Otto's Mommy loves him very  much.

Otto has Downs Syndrome.

Otto's Daddy used to play football...

...so we just HAD to take these 2 photos.

Otto is precious...from the tips of his little toes...

...to the tips of his little fingers.

Otto was fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator.

This is one of Otto's last "scar-free" photos.

You see, Otto is having heart surgery on Thursday, February 16th.  His heart does not have the walls between the four chambers like most of us.  He also needs a defective valve replaced.

I wanted to take photos of Otto, so that his family would have some beautiful, scar-free photos to show him when he gets older.  That way, they can share with him, like I did with my son (who had a heart surgery at age 7.5 months and another at age 2.5 years), about his heart surgery, and how God brought him through so much.

God loves Otto SO much, and so do his family and many, many other people.  I hope that you might take the time to pray for Otto and his family, as they go through this stressful time.  Otto will be in the hospital at least 10 days, and I know from experience that his mommy and daddy will need God's strength and power, as well as His love and comfort as they go through this time.
