This sweet little man slept for the first set, and then did not want to sleep at all during the rest of his session. We tried everything to get him to sleep, and I eventually had to hand him over to mama to feed several times. At last, I was able to get him to sleep, and I was able to capture the above photo.
I am so thankful for clients who are willing to drive an hour to get to me, and then stick around for 3-4 hours for their baby's newborn session! His big sister came too, and had to go for a drive with daddy while we rocked and cooed and cuddled in order to get Baby J to go to sleep.
